Reading glasses and accessories make great and affordable gifts. Buying accessories is fun and completes the shopping experience. If you purchase reading glasses online or in a retail store; you will find at least one fun accessory to add to your list. If you want to give the gift of glasses to a friend; all you need to know is the power of their reading glasses. I have seen the hottest designer and fashionable reading glasses and all you need to do is add a croakie or a fantastic glasses case. Stick in a bottle of cleaner and you’re done. Glasses and accessories aren’t expensive. Reading glasses can be very inexpensive or you can go all out with designer frames. I think manufacturers want to make reading glasses inexpensive so people can have multiple pair and put them everywhere.
Cleaning Cloth: Everyone needs to have a micro fiber cleaning cloth. These cloths are great because they will clean the lenses without leaving lint. Don’t forget about a special cleaner to go with the cloth. There are many brands on the market; just be sure not to use window cleaner as it is too strong.
Visor clip: Visor clips do just as they suggest; hook onto the visor of your car and then you can clip your glasses onto the visor. The glasses will be out of the way, and they won’t be crushed with stuff or the kids sitting on them.
Necklaces for glasses or croakies: These necklaces are a fun piece of jewelry and will hold reading glasses because people are constantly taking them on and off that a handy place is needed for them. Around the neck is a good place.
Eyeglasses Cases: Pick a style of case that works well with the glasses. What kind of case is best for the glasses? Many reading glasses match the case in color or pattern. Some cases are rigid so they keep the glasses from being crushed.
OPTX 20/20 Reading Lenses: Turn any pair of glasses into reading glasses with these little magnifying lenses bring all of the work up close and easy to see. These lenses are soft and pliable and easy to slip onto the lenses. No adhesives are needed.
Pocket Magnifiers: these magnifiers are so small; they are the size of a credit card. They will easily fit into a wallet or purse. Be discreet if you need to read in a restaurant or other public place.
Screwdrivers: The screws in glasses are so small that special screwdrivers may be required to keep the frames together. They come in different colors and tucked into their own cases.
Nose pads: if the nose pads on your glasses are worn and you love your glasses; buy an extra pair of nose pads and they will be more comfortable on your face.
The selection of accessories is growing more and more as people want multiple pairs of reading glasses. Check out what is available in the stores and treat yourself to a fun accessory.
