colored contacts
There are four different types of colored contacts. The first way is contact lenses that are just tinted with a little blue or green so that you can see them easier if you drop one. An enhancement tint is the second type of colored contact that is a tinted a little more than the first one, and does change the color of the eye slightly. It is meant to enhance an existing color and not change it completely. The third type is the true color contact lens that are more opaque and will definitely turn a blue eyed person into having brown eyes, and fourth, light filtering colored tints that are somewhat new on the market. They are used by athletes that enhance colors of tennis balls, softballs and golf balls. These contacts can also be used by spectators as it will enhance watching a game. More of these contacts are in development for other purposes as well.
